President Kiir approves 2025 S.4 examination results for release

President Salva Kiir Mayardit has approved the release of the 2025 South Sudan Certificate of Secondary Education Examination results after receiving a briefing from the Ministry of General Education and Instruction on Monday.

Minister of General Education and Instruction, Kuyok Abol Kuyok, accompanied by examination officials, presented the results to the president ahead of their official announcement.

According to the office of the President website,  the officials briefed Kiir on the overall performance of candidates who sat for the examinations across the country. Following the review, the president authorized the ministry to publicly release the results on Tuesday morning.

President Kiir congratulated the students who completed the examinations and commended parents, teachers, and school administrators for their contribution to the learners’ success throughout the academic year.

He also urged education authorities to continue implementing reforms and programs aimed at improving the quality of education in South Sudan.

The president stressed the importance of strengthening the country’s education system to equip young people with the knowledge and skills needed to support national development.

Education officials said more than 80 percent of candidates who sat the 2025 examinations passed.
