Three people, including a woman, have been injured in a grenade attack last night in Bor in Jonglei State.

The police commissioner in the state, General Thukul Ayom, says an unknown person detonated the grenade at a market in the town.

He says the police are searching for the suspect.

“We are searching for the culprit. This is the first time for that to happen in Bor,” said Gen Ayom. “We are doing our work as police.”

The injured are being treated at Bor General Hospital.
