The government has asked all the ministries to come up with three-year plans for the extended period of the governments’ mandate.

During a regular meeting of the Council of Ministers yesterday, the Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Michael Makuei, said the ministries will present their plans before they are implemented.

He says the cabinet will meet next week to discuss outstanding issues that may rise within the period.

“There under any other business the minister of cabinet affairs requested the ministers to come up with three to five points for development plan for the three years,” he said.

The mandate of the government and that of the president was extended for three years by the council of Ministers last month.
