The Ministry of Labour and Public Service has introduced Work Permit Smart Card for foreigners working in South Sudan.

Officials say they will issue the cards to those allowed to work in the country.

‘‘We created the smart Card to eliminate many problems. It will be issued to the person who needs a job in South Sudan and that person must meet some requirements,” the Minister for Labor and Public Service Ngor Kolong said.

“We need to have at least to control people who are working here in South Sudan but we are not going to expel them as stated last time.”
