Jamus SC defeated Al Ghazala Wau 3–1 on Sunday in the South Sudan Premier League at Buluk Playground in Juba.

The reigning champions started strongly, with Wani Ivan putting Jamus ahead in the 8th minute.

Jamus maintained control after the break, with Jude Ssemgabi doubling the lead in the 56th minute.

Ssemgabi scored again in the 61st minute to complete his brace and put Jamus firmly in control.

Al Ghazala Wau pulled one goal back, but Jamus held on to secure a 3–1 victory and collect all three points.

The win gives Jamus an early boost as they continue their title defence.

The club entered the 2026/27 South Sudan Premier League season as reigning champions after finishing the previous campaign unbeaten.

Al Ghazala Wau will now look to recover in their next league match after suffering their first defeat of the campaign.
