Author : | Published: Wednesday, June 22, 2016

Western Nile State agriculture minister says farming in the state has been affected by insecurity.

According to Dr Opal Adwok, there have been movements of armed forces in the state.

Officials there say most of the forces there are members of the opposition which are awaiting reintegration into the national army as part of the security arrangements.

“We are waiting for the due process to take off and we are waiting for the merger of forces such that we are able to go to the areas,” Dr Adwok said during the Dawn breakfast show.
