At least 10 partygoers were injured in what witnesses describe as a grenade explosion in a party in Mangaten suburb in Juba last night.

Most of the casualties of the attack whose motive is unclear were rushed to the Juba Teaching hospital immediately.

Eye Radio’s Obaj Okuj spoke to the injured who he says are mostly youth.

The police department is yet to comment on the grenade attack.

The grenade attack follows a deadly attack on a football hall in the Juba suburb of Gurei on Saturday night.

Police say at least nine people were killed while watching an English premier league game.
