A report by the IGAD monitoring and verification team says that both the government and the SPLM/SPLA-In Opposition have violated the Cessation of hostilities between August and November this year.
It has published a summary of reports of the Violations in the country from 22 August to 7 November 2014.
In the summary report, IGADS states that both warring parties have violated the Cessation of Hostilities Agreement in various areas and at different dates.
The noted violations include a Government violation of the agreement on 13 September 2014 in Juba where they did not allow members of the political parties to travel to the peace talks and a violation of the Cessation of Hostilities by SPLM/A –In opposition Forces over the period between 27-29 October in Rubkona County of Unity State.
