The Director of Juba International Airport says camps have been set up for entrance and exit as the terminals are being renovated.

Kur Kual says the work will finish within 90 days.

Mr Kur says the work started last week to extend the terminal in order to accommodate a good number of passengers arriving or traveling in and outside the country.

Kur told Eye Radio that the extension of old terminal is meant to reduce congestion.

“The way the terminal is, it was very small. That is why the government decided to renovate the old one and make some small extension for it so that it can accommodate a good number of passengers,” he said.

“So actually that is why we just made temporally arrangements so that people should work in that temporally arrangements until the work finish.”

Mr. Kur says the contractor have made some camps for the travelers to use as terminal for the arrivals and departure.
But he did not say the cost of the project.
