Australia: Infant of South Sudanese origin goes missing

Australian police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a missing infant of South Sudanese origin.

According to police reports, the three-month-old baby girl was last seen with her mother Abuk Garang at a residential address in Victoria State on Wednesday.

Police are concerned for the welfare of the baby and have released an image of her, along with the 27-year-old mother.

The authorities have urged anyone with information on the mother’s current whereabouts to call the police.
