The Ministry of Transport says a Memorandum of Understanding with a Chinese construction to build a railway line to Djibuoti will connect the oil fields to the port.
The undersecretary of the ministry, Captain David Martin, signed the MoU in Juba on Tuesday with the China Construction Engineering Company.
