Police needs assessed in Aweil

The National Minister of Interior and Wildlife Conservation, Aleu Ayeny Aleu visited Warrap State to assess police operations in the region.
 
During a meeting of a State’s senior officials in the organized forces, Warrap State police commissioner, Major Gen Nicola Dimo told the minister that the state police force lacks communication equipment, vehicles for operation and funds to facilitate the movement of security forces in the state.
Hon. Aleu Anyeny said he will address the problems with the top management in Juba when he returns.
State Acting governor Hon. Akec Tong Aleu also said there is a need for more security forces to be redeployed to Akoc payam of Twic County, Gogrial East County and Tonj East County.
He says his state government will send them there next week.
Aleu Ayeny also said his visit to Warrap State is also to identify difficulties facing the salaries committee.
The minister also visited Northern Bahr el Ghazal, Western Bahr el Ghazal, and Unity states.
