Five people have been killed in an attack by suspected pastoralists in Mundri West County in Western Equatoria State.
The acting commissioner of the county, John Cleopas, says the attack took place in Tore area on Wednesday night.
“According to witnesses, the attackers were armed and they were above thirty in number,” Mr Cleopas said. “After killing four villagers, they also shot dead one of their own.”
He added that organized forces have been deployed in the area to prevent further attacks.
