Meanwhile, the nine Ngok Dinka tribes have appointed a new paramount chief to replace the late Kuol Deng Kuol who was killed on Saturday. The new Paramount chief is Doctor Bilabeth Kuol -who is one of the brothers to the late Paramount chief Deng Kuol. The Civil Society Chairperson in Abyei, Rou Manyiel made the declaration during the installation ceremony held in Abyei yesterday. He explained that the new paramount’s installation was done by the Anyiel chiefdom according to the nine Ngok Dinka’s cultural traditions.
