The latest national secondary school examination results have spotlighted a group of outstanding students whose exceptional performances placed them among the country’s top achievers. Meet the best top performers in the 2025 S.4 results announced today by the Ministry of General Education and Instruction.
Of the candidates who made the prestigious Top Ten Performers list in the Academic Section, Darling Wisdom Academy produced the overwhelming majority, underscoring the school’s growing reputation for academic excellence and consistency.
The overall best-performing candidate was Maduet Mangong Maduet of Darling Wisdom Academy’s Pentagon Campus, who scored 88.9 percent in the Arts section. He was followed by fellow DWASS student Malual Aluong Riak, who attained 88.5 percent in science.
At the third position, which was shared by four candidates with 88.3 percent, three were from Darling Wisdom Academy: Manyang Machot Lony, Manal Alier Garang, and Omiyang William Mario. The fourth candidate sharing the same rank was Kenyi Lado Lawon from Juba Integrated High School, making him one of the few students outside DWASS to break into the upper echelon of the national rankings.
Darling Wisdom Academy’s dominance continued further down the list with Waat Gatnor Maar securing eighth place with 87.6 percent.
At ninth position, three students tied with 87.5 percent. Two of them: Athiei Nyol Aqieu and Awuol Andrew Manyok, were from Darling Wisdom Academy, while Charles Gum Majok of Juba Academy Secondary School also earned a place among the nation’s top performers.
The tenth position was shared by three candidates who scored 87.3 percent. These included Peter Kur Geu of Darling Wisdom Academy, Arech Atem Deng of Legacy Global Academy Secondary School, and Teresa Ayen Maker of Darling Wisdom Academy’s Nana Campus.
The results indicate that Darling Wisdom Academy accounted for 10 of the 13 candidates appearing in the Top Ten Performers ranking due to tied positions.
The performance of Juba Integrated High School, Juba Academy Secondary School, and Legacy Global Academy Secondary School also stood out, with each school producing at least one candidate among the country’s highest achievers.
In the female category, Darling Wisdom Academy continued its impressive showing. Nyaduok Chuol Dep emerged as the best-performing female candidate with 88 percent, while fellow DWASS student Awur Madol Anyuat secured second position with 87.6 percent, both from the Pentagon Campus.
