Egypt’s Foreign Minister to visit Juba

The Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sameh Shoukry is leading a delegation to Juba this afternoon to discuss bilateral relations.

The Spokesperson of the South Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Mawien Makol says he will be meeting with his counterpart on matters concerning health and education.

“The visit is just coming to talk on bilateral relations between Egypt and South Sudan. And come and talk to with our minister here, his counterpart Dr. Barnaba Marial on the issues of bilateral relations, arrangement from health to education,” he said.

“You know that we have a large number of our students in Cairo who are studying in the universities.”

The Egyptian minister will stay in the country for two days.

Egypt earlier pledged to invest in agriculture in South Sudan.
