The Caretaker Governor of Central Equatoria State has sacked the deputy chairperson and members of the state anti-corruption commission.

Juma Ali Malou sacked Mr. John James Lasuk along with four others in a decree last evening. The reason for dismissals is unclear.

In a separate decree, the caretaker governor appointed Mr. Emmanuel Khamis Richard as the new chairperson for the commission.

The position of the chairperson was not filled until he issued the decree.

Mr Ali also appointed Daniel Abocha Ali as the new deputy chairperson, and four new members.
