A mother of quadruplets who delivered last weekend in Northern Bahr el Ghazal has received a 300,000-pound assistance from the state governor.

Ayak Koryom gave birth to the bouncing four babies at Aweil Civil Hospital on Sunday, October 1, 2023.

The man who fathered the quadruplets – two boys and two girls – is named Anei Anei Thuch.

On October 7, Governor Tong Akeen Ngor visited the couple and their babies were still admitted to the hospital and made a donation.

“Father Anei Anei Thuc Guot and mother Ayak Koryom from Aweil West County wholeheartedly appreciated the Governor for his kindness and care for the people of Northern Bahr El Ghazal State in general,” says a statement from the governor’s office.

“H.E, Governor Contributed 300,000 SSP to the parent and congratulated the mother and father for their newborn babies. The quadruplets comprise of 2 boys and 2 girls.”
