At least three people have been killed and two others seriously wounded in a cattle raid incident in Warrap state.

The attack happened in a cattle camp in Tonj South County.

The County Commissioner, William Wol, told Eye Radio that over two hundred heads of cattle have also been stolen.

“It was yesterday [Sunday] that people from Cuiebet, bordering a county of Lakes state raided cattle from my county in Manyangong Payam, and they raided almost two hundred cattle,” said Mr Wol.

“The owners of the cattle tried to retrieve the raided animals, but during the fighting, about three people were killed and two others were wounded.”

Commissioner Wol said that security personnel have been deployed to try to curb insecurity at the bordering state.

It’s so sad that Africans are smashing their skulls over an Israeli and an Arab.
