20 suspected drug dealers arrested in Juba’s Hai Mauna

The Juba municipal authorities have arrested 20 suspected drug dealers including foreign nationals in Mauna residential area in the city.

According to a statement from the City Council, Mayor Michael Ladu Allah-Jabu confiscated the illegal drugs and had the drug dealers arrested.

The different drugs found on sale were Bongo, Opium, Marungi, and others, the city council said in the statement.

“H.W the Mayor of Juba City Council Michael Lado Allah-Jabu appreciated the efforts of the Sector in order to help them to maintain security and protect the people in Mauna,” read the statement.

“Mayor also assured his readiness to work hard to stop the harmful drugs that are causing damage to the coming generation in Juba City.”
