Thirteen men from the armed youth group, Arrow Boys have surrendered to Gbudwe state authorities, the acting governor has said.

The vigilante group has been accused of causing insecurity in the state in the past years.

Acting governor Patrick Kandi says the 13 men were allied to one Alfred Fotiyo.

He said they have surrendered in accordance with the amnesty that was given to all armed groups by President Salva Kiir recently.

“For those who are still in the bush, we continue to encourage them to take chance of the general amnesty,” Mr Kandi said.

The men are expected to be integrated into their community.
