Ten mutilated bodies have been found in a village in Mongalla County, the Commissioner has told Eye Radio.

Mr Illario said some of the dead – eight men and two women – were family members.

They were” burning their charcoal” when the unidentified assailants attacked and killed them in Bilinyang.

The motive of the act is not known.

Mr Illario said two days before the incident, five people were also killed, including a soldier, just close to a wildlife post, two kilometers away from Mongala town.

He said security forces have been deployed to the areas in search for the perpetrators.
