More than 15 schools that were closed due to communal violence in Yambio in July have been reopened.
The schools then closed unofficially. It is not unclear how many pupils were affected.
However, officials at the state ministry of education have announced the reopening.
“This morning, few pupils came to the school and left early before the actual time of leaving,” reported Paul Night, Stringer.
Some residents of the town fled their homes due to random shooting, in which more than 10 people were killed.
