University of Juba has held its first lecture on federalism since the independence of South Sudan.It was organized by the university’s Centre for Peace and Development Studies in collaboration with the Rift Valley Institute.
Speakers included the British academic Dr. Douglas Johnson. He is known for his book “The Root Causes of Sudan’s Civil War”.
Also speaking at the same function, was the Minister of Local Government of Western Equatoria State, Daniel Zingifuaboro. And The leader of the SPLM for Democratic Change, Dr. Lam Akol Ajawin.
