UDSF party pledges support for gov’t to peace

The Opposition United Democratic Salvation Front Party says it will work together with the government and other political parties to bring lasting peace to the country.

Joseph Malual is the leader of the party. He says they will share ideas with other political parties and the communities in the country on how to bring peace.

He said that bringing peace is the responsibility of every citizen in South Sudan.

“It is natural that when a country is at war, the opposition parties join hand to the ruling party and the government of the day to defend the national interest together. We feel that this obligation is ours all; and not the government alone to deal with this issue.” He said.

Malual urged both parties to the conflict to compromise in order to end the one-year conflict.
