South Sudan Football Association has introduced South Sudan COPA Cup Championship with participation of all ten states, including he two administrative areas, Abyei and greater Pibor.
The tournament has been scheduled to kick off in mid-February until the beginning of March.
William Okot, SSFA Secretary-General told Eye Radio that the two administrative areas shall participate in the COPA Championship according to their constitutional status in the Government of South Sudan.
The move comes to give each team the opportunity to show their talents to facilitate the selection process of a national team of South Sudan.
