The Minister of Education has identified education as being the way to transform leadership in South Sudan.
The Minister made the comment during the graduation ceremony of seven senior SPLM cadres, including the Vice President, James Wani Igga.
The seven SPLM cadres graduated with masters in Transformational Leadership and Change from the International Leadership Institute of Ethiopia in collaboration with the University of Greenwich.
Speaking at the graduation ceremony yesterday, the Minister of Education urged leaders to further their education.
The graduates came from different government institutions including parliament and the army.
The Acting Secretary General of the ruling Party, SPLM, Ann Itto, said the government intends to expand the program, to have more leaders further their education and improve their leadership skills.

She asked the government of South Sudan to work with the International Leadership Institute of Ethiopia on the program.
Twenty-seven scholars enrolled for the Masters Program.

Eight of them dropped out, ten are still completing other academic requirements.
