Public drivers are urged to respect road signs to reduce the rate of accidents.

There have been cases of accidents lately, particularly along Juba-Nimule highway. On Sunday, one person was killed and 26 others injured in a bus accident along the road.

The Director for Public Relations at the Traffic Police Department, Connell Salah, attributed the rise in cases of accidents to speeding.

He said drivers should follow speed limits along Juba Nimule Road.

“On the highway, it is very clear everybody who went to Nimule right now can see that the limit speed in Nimule road is 80 kilometer per hour,” Mr Salah explained.

He added that they have received budget to repair Juba Nimule road.
