A policeman suspected of shooting a school boy in Kajo-Keji County of Central Equatoria, on Sunday night has been arrested, authorities have said.

Beden Elikana is the county spokesperson. He said the policeman who shot the boy was arrested on Monday.

Baiden said the policeman is in the prison waiting for an investigation.

“Know this happened when they picked a quarrel with the police and then the police decided to shoot him dead,” he described.

“This morning he was apprehended, now he is inside. He has been put into the jail waiting for investigation. But when I went there, the police declined to speak to me.”

The spokesperson said the boy was killed on his way home from a disco.
