The International Committee of Red Cross says it has so far registered ninety children who lost contacts with their families during to the conflict that erupted in mid-December.

I-C-R-C head of delegation, Franz Rauchenstein says 15 of the children seeking refuge in Kenya will be re-united with their parents within the coming days.

He says the re-union of children with their families is a huge task but very important.

“The phenomenon is large, there are more kids that will be registered and reunited. It is good for the families because some of the families are also comfortable that the Kids are detected, and they know where they are, but they have to stand to have this reunification when it is good for them.” Rauchenstein said.

He says I-C-R-C will continue to register lost children in the country.
