The Former Deputy Speaker in Northern Bahar al Gazal State Assembly, Athiang Malok Athiang, has died.

He passed away last evening after an asthmatic attack.

“He was taken further to the hospital yesterday evening and he was found to have died because of Asthma,” our correspondent Abraham Agoth said after a visit to the hospital.

“It will be taken to the assembly for the prayers before the final burial at his house.”

The late Athiang was the deputy speaker between 2012 and 2013.
