Leader of the Minority in Upper Nile State criticises Examinations

Leader of the Minority in Upper Nile State has criticized the secondary examinations process and called for them to be nullified. Juliano Nyawelo Dak told Eye Radio that there was chaos and delay in the exam papers which led some schools to sitting them the following day. Juliano Nyawelo urged the government to cancel the examination to give all the students a fair chance. Last week, the Minister of General Education, Joseph Ukel denied claims by an MP in the national assembly that the exams were leaked and full of malpractices. He urged the assembly to allow the exams to continue –after which he will present a full report on the examination process.This is the first time students are sitting for exams set in South Sudan.
