The United States of America says that lack of accountability in the South Sudan crisis is hindering the peace process.
The U.S. envoy to the United Nations, Ambassador Samantha Power, says those who are responsible for atrocities, sexual violence, recruiting child soldiers and mass killings should be held accountable.
She says accountability should not be put on hold in favor of first achieving peace.
