The SPLM says the fourth round of the inter-party dialogue will resume in the first week of January in Tanzania.

Last week the third round of the inter-party was convened in Tanzania to discuss and suggest solutions to the current crisis.

The SPLM Spokesperson, Akol Kur, says the next phase of the dialogue will include members of the SPLM Former political detainees, the SPLM in Opposition and the government.

‘‘The discussion was good and we have agreed to resume again in the first week of January. However, there has been a closed understanding and progress made so far in an attempt to addresses the crisis that is affecting our country.” Kur said.

Akol says the next dialogue forum will focus on the means of resolving the conflict in South Sudan.

The SPLM inter-party dialogue was initiated by Tanzania’s ruling party, Chama Cha Mapinduzi or C-C-M.
