A secondary school teacher was killed on Wednesday by gunmen in Yambio town while on his way to school, an official has said.
The Minister of Information of Gbudwe State, Joseph Sabuni, says the teacher, who has not been named, was shot dead by some gunmen.
This incident happened after an attack on SPLA barracks in Ezo County by unidentified armed men.
Mr Sabuni also says a force has been deployed to protect the civilians.
