All the government institutions will install suggestion boxes so that the departments can obtain comments, questions and request from the public, says the new Vice President.

James Wani Igga said this way, citizens could have their concerns known to senior government officials.

“If there is anything which is not going on well in the Ministry of Health, a normal citizen has the right to go and put his or her suggestion there,” said the Vice President, adding that his own suggestion box is already under construction.

“The carpenter is already making my suggestion box. So, I will put it outside my office so that everybody will reach it. If you see anything which is not going on well in this country and maybe we up here didn’t see it, and you are the one who saw it, please be our eyes. That is your work. We are open to you,” he said.

James Wani Igga also said that young people should especially engage in the government process.
