The South Sudan Human Rights Commission has launched its Strategic Plan for 2026 to 2028 to strengthen human rights protection across the country.

The plan outlines the Commission’s priorities for promoting and protecting human rights over the next three years.

The launch in Juba brought together representatives from government institutions, civil society organizations, development partners and other stakeholders.

The Commission says the event provided an opportunity to discuss its priorities and plans for the coming three years.

It also raised awareness of the Commission’s mandate and strengthened cooperation with government institutions, civil society organizations and development partners.

The Strategic Plan has been distributed to key institutions to support its implementation and coordination.

The Commission says it will continue working with partners to promote human rights, accountability and inclusive development in South Sudan.
