Two people suspected of raping a woman in Wau town have been arrested by the police.

The Director of Special Unit for Protection, Captain Lula Carlo says the two men are accused of raping a 25-year-old lady.

The unnamed young woman later died at a hospital in the area.

In response, a female civil society activist in Juba, Lona Marekaje, condemned the incident, describing it as unfortunate.
