Over 300 IDPs arrive in Twic, Warrap State

Warrap State Authorities say more than 300 Internally Displaced People who were displaced by fighting in Unity State have arrived in Twic County.

Those who arrived in in northern part of the state are mainly from Beimnhom and Parieng counties of Unity State.

The County commissioner, Biar Biar Ring told Eye Radio that they are conducting assessment of the situation of these the IDPS.

“The Red Cross people went there yesterday, and they brought in the number of the IDPs. But they have gone to Ajak Kuac area to see how many IDPs have come in that area, after that full report will be issued out.” he said.

Twic County is hosting more than two thousand IDPs mainly from the neighboring Unity State Mayom County.
