New Yambio commissioner vows to address issues within 3 months or resign

The new commissioner of Yambio County in Western Equatoria has promised to resign if he fails to address the main issues in the area within three months.

Hussein Enoka says he will improve education, security and settle land disputes in the first three months in office.

“Give me three months only and someone should come to my office and tell me that, until now I don’t have a plot.” Mr Enoka said in a rally in Yambio yesterday.

There have been disputes over the distribution of plots in the town.

Mr Enoka said he would guarantee the right of every citizen in the state to acquire land in the state capital.

He assumed office in a reshuffle last week.
