Former employees of the Sudan Radio Service, which rebranded itself as Eye Radio after independence in 2011, have been appointed as ministers in the government of Western Equatoria State.

The two ministers are honorable Tombura Michael Renzi, Minister of Trade, Commerce and Investment, and Honorable Gibson Bullen Wande, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports.

The two leaders served in various capacities during their employment with the Sudan Radio Service and Eye Radio respectively.

Michael Renzi was the marketing manager when he left the station while Gibson Bullen was a producer for the Language of the Day, Zande.

Over the weekend, the Care Taker governor, Major General Patrick Raphael Zamoi, dissolved the state cabinet and appointed a new one.

The management of Eye Radio congratulates the two leaders on their appointment and wishes them well in their new responsibilities as state ministers.
