Two men suspected of raping an underage girl have been arrested by police in Wunrok Payam, Warrap.

Twic County criminal investigation Captain Ayii Deng Ayii told Mayardit FM that the victim has been taken to hospital.

Captain Ayii said the men are suspected of raping a 15-year-old girl at a party in a village in Wunrok Payam earlier this week.

“The victim said the men threatened her but she refused their advances and they raped her,” Capt Ayii explained.

“Once I have finished the investigation, the case will go to court.”

Captain Ayii urged parents not to allow their children to attend parties at night for their safety.
