The Vice President has warned that any foreigner arrested for committing a serious crime that violates the laws of South Sudan, will be deported.
“Our people die every day, the rate of crime has increased, and out of these are our organized forces in uniform, and the foreigners,” said Mr. Igga.
“Foreigners involved in organized crime in the country will not be tolerated.”
He said authorities have arrested some members of the organized forces, along with foreign nationals who have been conniving to rob and kill people in Juba.
Security officials say they arrest those holding guns every day.
“We are going to reform so that our people are happy,” he added, “it is becoming too much.”
Vice President Wani Igga cautioned the public from hosting people who are suspected criminals in their countries of origin.
He urged people to report any persons involved in criminal activities to the nearest police.
