Sudanese planes allegeldy attack Raja

Sudanese war planes bombed the area yesterday, according to the commissioner of Raja County, Western Bhar al-Ghazal State.

Commissioner Maro Dama told Eye Radio that the plane dropped more than 20 bombs in the area.

However, he says there were no casualties.

“Around 1:32 minute a war plane – antonov belonging to the Republic of Sudan – targeted the Headquarters of Deleba and dropped around 20 bombs inside the town,” he said.

Mr Dama condemned the attack. “We condemn this barbaric act against Raja County.”

The Sudanese army has not commented on the matter.

Authorities in Raja County have been reporting incidents of bombing allegedly by the Sudanese army since secession in 2011.
