South Sudan U-20 football team in Sudan for continental qualifiers

South Sudan men’s under-20 national team is in the Sudanese capital Khartoum for the Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers 2023.

The team departed from Juba International Airport on Sunday and were later pictured at Khartoum Airport upon arrival.

South Sudan take on the host Sudan in the first match of the Cecafa Zonal Qualifiers, at Al-Hilal Stadium in the Sudanese capital Khartoum in October 28th.

The Bright Stars will also play Burundi on November 1, and finally Djibouti  on November 5 before the semi-finals.

A total of twelve teams are vying for a place at the 2023 Africa U-23 Cup of Nations that will be played in Egypt. The host country has qualified automatically.
