A search for 10 mining experts, who were abducted by unknown gunmen in Torit County recently, is underway.
The miners are employees of a French mining company called ‘Lucky Friends Company Limited’.
They were kidnapped by armed men while surveying a mining field last month.
“I am following the Ifotu community elders intellectual, because the incident happened there. They might have known where the people are. Right now we are following them for their release,” Torit County Commissioner, Vigilio Bernard told Eye Radio.
The mining experts still held hostage are ten in number.
