President Kiir relieves BoSS, NRA heads in Republican Decrees

President Salva Kiir on Monday relieved the Bank of South Sudan Governor Johny Ohisa Damian, the Commissioner General of the National Revenue Authority, Athian Diing Athian, and their deputies.

In a Republican decree read on the South Sudan Broadcasting Cooperation, Kiir relieved Governor Ohisa’s, 1st and 2nd  deputies, Adis Ababa Othow and John Machiek.

He appointed James Alic Garang as the new governor of the Bank of South Sudan, and Samuel Yanga Mikaya and Nyiel Gordon Kuol as his 1st and 2nd Deputies.

Meanwhile, sacked NRA deputy Africano Mande is elevated as the Commissioner General of the revenue institution.

Albino Dak Kur  is appointed as the new Deputy Commissioner General of the National Revenue Authority

In a similar decree, Kiir sacked Kuol Daniel Ayulo from his position of 1st Undersecretary in the Ministry of Finance and Planning and appointed Malual Tap Diu as the new replacement.

In another decree, Kiir fired Mary Akech Taban from the position of Undersecretary in the Ministry of Trade and Industry and replaced her with former 1st Undersecretary in the Ministry of Finance Kuol Daniel Ayulo.
