President makes donation to Juba Teaching Hospital

The President has donated more than 700,000 South Sudanese Pounds to Juba Teaching Hospital.
The money is being given as a token of appreciation by the President to the staff of the hospital for their work with dealing with the casualties following the fighting which began in mid-December.
The Presidential Press Secretary, Ateny Wek Ateny, who delivered the donation to the Hospital, said the money is to be shared amongst the staff of the Hospital. Juba Teaching Hospital has almost 1000 staff.
Mr. Ateny said the Juba Teaching Hospital support staff would also receive 500 South Sudanese Pounds.
Earlier, the President to made a donation to Juba Military Hospital.
The Director General of the Juba Teaching Hospital, Dr. Wani Loli, said the President’s gesture will build morale within the Hospital staff.
Ateny Wek said other hospitals around the country would also be considered.
