Nigerian afrobeat duo P-Square jetted to Juba on Sunday to perform to a Christmas crowd at Dr. John Garang Mausoleum later that evening.
The legendary twins – rather known as Peter and Paul have been invited by a local music promotion group to perform at the annual Together for Peace concert.
There had been controversies before the concert after South Sudan Artist Union Officials issued a series of statements threatening to cancel the show because they were not informed.
But the show eventually went ahead, despite the late arrival of the P-Square brothers.
Thousands of young people attended the electrifying evening concert that was heavily guarded by government security forces.
Dozens of South Sudanese artists also performed in the show.
