Nimule records 5 cholera cases

Imatong state health officials say they have recorded five suspected cases of cholera in Nimule town.

The director-general at the state ministry of health, Dr Augustine Okwahi, told Eye Radio that out of the five cases, four were confirmed to be cholera.

Cases of Cholera were first reported in Juba in May, and the disease was declared an epidemic in July.

It later spread to other states, although health partners say the number of cases has now reduced.
